We’ll hear from State Committee (District Leader) Candidates Carmella Charrington and Omar Hardy, local organizers, and elected officials about the urgency of combating deed theft and why this fight is part of a broader working-class struggle for housing justice in our city. Then we’ll hit the doors and ask neighbors to join us in calling on the Governor to immediately implement a moratorium on evictions. We’ll also spread the word about Eon and Jabari’s plans to fight displacement in the legislature and institute broader protections for legacy homeowners and tenants alike.
